Manpreet Kaur, Founder of Parveen Phulkari House, Patti, passionately spoke about preserving the legacy of Phulkari embroidery while adapting it for modern markets. As a third-generation artisan and entrepreneur, she urged students to value their roots while embracing global opportunities.
Mr. Vishal Vivek, Co-Founder of Ukhi and a sustainability expert, inspired with his pioneering work in turning agricultural waste into compostable plastics and developing hemp-based fabrics. Recognised by Forbes, he stressed the need for young designers to see fashion as both art and responsibility.
