It was a distinct honor for the founder of Ukhi to be invited by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) as a Guest Speaker. He addressed the newly inducted officers of the Indian Enterprise Development Service (IEDS) at a session held at the IIT Roorkee – Greater Noida Campus.

During his talk, he narrated his entrepreneurial journey, which began in the IT sector 15 years ago—a time when the startup ecosystem was still in its infancy. He detailed the process of scaling the IT company and then shared insights into the strategic pivot into the deep tech realm of material science, highlighting the evolving landscape of innovation and risk-taking in Indian business.
The session provided a valuable opportunity for him to engage with the 65 officers—29 Assistant Director Grade-I and 36 Assistant Director Grade-II—recruited through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). He commended the officers on their enthusiasm and keenness to contribute to the MSME sector, wishing them success as they embark on their public service careers. He emphasized that they will be instrumental in supporting the nation’s small and medium enterprises and advancing the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
The interactive session was met with an enthusiastic response, marked by engaging questions and a lively discussion. The team at Ukhi extends its gratitude to Shri Rajesh Bharti Ji and the MSME team for extending this invitation and fostering a meaningful dialogue between industry and government.
